JZ & SZ 363 ‘Brizita’
JZ & SZ 363 ‘Brizita’
Directly derived from the French CC 6500s, the forty 363s were delivered to Slovenia between 1975 and 1977.
Only 39 units were in service, the last one being used as a parts bank.
Running at 3000v continuous, these provide various services throughout the country, from night trains to combined transport as well as regional trains, they are the country’s all-rounders.
Despite their age and their maximum speed of 125km/h on the passenger side and 75km/h on the freight side, they continue to run across the whole country as the head of various trains
They also hold the nickname ‘Brizita’ or ‘Brigite’ because of the elegance of the machine and the association made with the French actress ‘Brigite Bardot’
These machines were also nicknamed the ‘Queen’ for over 3 decades
