ČKD 735 T-466.0 (Pilštyk)
735 locomotive (until 1988: t 466.0) was a diesel-electric locomotive (diesel locomotive with electrical transmission power) designed for personal and freight trains. They produced her in 1971-1979, Turčianske Martin.
The locomotives were based on the prototype machine T 465.0, but unlike it, they were equipped with the electrical transmission of power and a steam generator of PG 500 for heating passenger trains’ steam. Against locomotive T 465.0 built in a single prototype with a hydrodynamic transmission produced according to the SRM license, there was also a change in the design of the locomotive housing to the chassis and to increase the engine power. The 735 Series prototype machine was manufactured in 1971 and in 1972 the first series of 25 pieces were produced. The production continued until 1979.
