MAJOR UPDATE 02-10-2020!
Hey there!
Hope you are all well wherever you are and that you are keeping safe and healthy!
I have decided to seriously improve this early design from May 2020 as I find this medium airport very useful in my game. So after many hours of work, testing, and some inspiration I am releasing it, so you can enjoy the newest version of my CITY AIRPORT
This (NEW) City Airport version features:
– NEW – 2 airport versions – one traditional landing from the left and a new one with approach and landing from the right!
– asphalt runway and custom runway markings, the sidewalk has been trimmed by a few meters,
– modified approach lights and correct PAPI indicator position,
– concrete taxiway with yellow markings and 40 km / h taxiing speed,
– runway beginning and end lights now in a different place and are more to scale,
– custom main building with Air Traffic Control tower, helipad, and double entrance! Also a fuel farm and a fuel truck,
– NEW custom main building module adapted as GATE with street access! (no more waste of space).
– NEW – Old airfield main building adapted as GATE with street access!
– NEW – City Airport RAMP/GATE – module without building but with passenger waiting area and street access!
– All NEW modules are compatible with my other creations: Small and Large Airfield, GA Airfields and Airstrips so feel free to mix and match!
– All aprons have been modified to allow more space for passengers and plane parking, there is very little grass between GATES now.
– dedicated custom RADAR base on airport grounds.
– re-positioned apron lights, terminal/gate, passenger safety barriers…
– apple trees in front of terminals, some space for car park at the back of terminal/gates,
– no airport fence for easy decoration!
– NEW dedicated icons in the airport’s menu: modules and airport versions
