Russian 71-623 Series Trams & Modifications

This mod adds legendary trams 71-623-02 and 71-623-02.0 to the game. 71-623 (aka KTM-23) is a one-sided passenger tramcar with variable floor level. Produced by Ust-Katavsky Carriage Works since 2009. 550 cars have been produced, operating in 22 cities of the ex-USSR.

For the first time – technology of animated stop boards (on trams of Moscow, Tula, and St. Petersburg). At stops, a special electronic board works on the rear window.
Possibility to set your own number for the tram (to disable, remove the numbers from the name, or disable the function in the mods download menu). For fans of authentic fonts, they are made for each tram. Either prefixed with “with number” in the name, or they can be enabled by repainting the tram (this is indicated in the description).
Realistic destination boards for each version of the tram. Indicates the first and/or last stop of the line. Coloured route boards for Samara and St. Petersburg trams.
There are cameras for each tram. The driver’s camera is installed at an angle so that when it rotates, it stays in the cab and the ceiling and side windows are visible. It is difficult to use it inside and outside the cabin, so just switch to the next camera.
Own a cabin for the tram from each city, with validators, seats and other details. Two cabin options.
Added informers for trams from different cities, announcing the closing of doors and reading out advertising messages.
Detailed descriptions for each tram and each city, for those who like historical references.
Each tram has a tram and railway version.
Content of the mod:
71-623-02 (since 2009) – modification of tram with equipment “Canopus”. In the mod is presented in 2 neutral liveries, two Moscow, St. Petersburg &Tula.
71-623-02.01 (since 2015) – modernised version of the tram with equipment “Chergos”. Bulwark on the roof, new interiors, monitors, new control panel, equipment on the roof, etc. Presented in Samara, Petersburg, Magnitogorsk and two neutral liveries.

The extended version of this mod includes:
Extended content is based on coupled (SME) versions. For the first time, we have implemented the technology of skinning meshes – barriers and wire between sections now do not break on turns, but realistically stretch between cars. It looks best on the railway.

The extended version includes:
71-623-02.01 SME Samara (since 2015) – a unique SME version that worked in Samara. Here the rear carriage was connected to the leading one by the front mask, and thus the tram could accommodate twice as many passengers.
71-623-03 “Shuttle” (since 2015) – a new modification of the tram, “shuttle”, operating in SME. It has doors on both sides, cling to each other with rear masks and can operate with platforms on both sides without the need for a turntable ring. The tram has a new mask, identical to 71-631, and combined lighting (there are both rear and front lights). In the game, it is available in recolour, in St. Petersburg and Volgograd versions + in single cars.
