Kitson 0-4-0 ‘Lively Polly’ Mod
Kitson 0-4-0 ‘Lively Polly’ Mod
Teeny tiny 0-4-0WT that has no real value whatsoever apart from the fact I use it as my avatar on the internet these days.
This is a port from one of my last TpF1 mods (desc from TpF1)
This is a Kitson 0-4-0, like the kind used on industrial and small works freight in the late 19th Century until the mid 20th. Its an obscure engine with little to no use in a game like Transport Fever, that even less people will actually know about.
This specific example, known as Lively Polly, was a small well tank that worked on the Liverpool Overhead railway, pulling small works trains around.
Stats:
Roughly the same as the Borsig. It’s probably weaker actually… You don’t need to know them because everyone just goes off the power rating anyway. (I’d say 5 freight wagons tops)
Things that are inaccurate with my model:
Livery:
I do not know the original livery and there’s not a lot of source material so I used my LNWR texture from my other mods. The LNWR could very well have owned this engine at some point, but it is entirely recolourable so its not too bad.
Frames:
The original engine was double framed around the wheels, using a crank axle on the outside. This was a pain in the butt to model so it hasn’t got that.
Cab:
I lifted the cab straight from the Prussian T3 because it worked. I am not sorry.
