–About Air Koryo
–You may heard of the two famous air company names Asiana and Korean Air owning both boeing 747 and airbus 380 in South Korea but what about its north neighbor? In March 1992 the Civil Aviation Authority of Korea (CAAK) became Air Koryo. Air Koryo operate the majority of their flights into and out of North Korea from: Beijing, Shenyang, Shanghai and Vladivostok. They also operate seasonal flights to SE Asia and Kuwait. Although Air Koryo gets only 1 star in skytrax's list it still provides good meals during your flight.
-"My flight with Air Koryo in Business Class was a great one. They are: punctual, polite, and professional; I also found they spoke good English. For the 1.5 hour flight from Beijing, their offering puts most US and European Carriers to shame! While their service is certainly quite different from the mainstream airlines offerings; I would say keep an open mind and you will find you receive an enjoyable experience from them! "Said Sam Chui.

–About Korea Airlines
-Not everyone has heard of Korean Air. Korean Air is the only airline in North Korea, the full name of Korean Air Korea Trading Company, started in 1955. Korean Air operates exclusively domestic routes to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. International routes mainly operate regular flights from Pyongyang to Beijing, Shenyang, Shanghai, Harbin, Russia, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, and other places in Russia; in addition, non-scheduled flights to and from Macau, China, Bangkok, Thailand, Nagoya, and Niigata, and all over the world .
-Korean Air has been awarded the only Skytrax one-star airline in the world for many years. This may be due to its early hardware backwardness, or it may not be due to its service. I will not make a judgment on this. The opinion of well-known aviation blogger Sam Chui can be found in the English description on this page. If you are interested, please refer to it yourself.
