The Baldwin DRS-6-4-660 (Known in France as the A1A-A1A 62000) was the French national railway’s first experience with dieselization. 100 were operated in mainland France and 8 more in Morocco. Built-in 1946-47 and provided to France under the Marshall plan, they would be operated until the 1990s.
