British Rail Class 27 Diesel Locomotive.
A total of 69 class 27’s were ordered by British Rail as part of the Modernization Plan, with the first delivered in 1961. The class operated both passenger and freight services, initially around London and the Scottish region. Mass withdrawal of the class occurred in 1987.
