China, Korea and Japan Mod
China, Korea and Japan Mod
Map size: megalomaniac 1: 2. No mods
Normal difficulty, normal time speed. You can adjust them though
This is an initial version of my East Asia map, will update in coming months. 36 cities, 160 industries randomly generated. Cities and terrains are based on real map but I twisted them somehow so they make more sense in this game. Many things need updates, your comments are very welcome.
Btw trees don't help the performance, feel free to add your own trees.
1: 2 giant map, no mod
This map basically includes China, South Korea and most of Japan east of the Heihe Tengchong Line. A total of 36 cities and 160 industries. The city location and terrain are based on real maps, but with some adjustments.
The default difficulty is medium, and the speed of time is normal. Can be adjusted during the game.
This map is still very basic and will be updated slowly. Welcome to leave a message.
some thoughts:
I've probably figured out that without Mod, 36 cities with evenly distributed needs will need at least 400 factories to supply all to the later stage, so the current number of factories is definitely not enough. It may be possible to use mods that increase production in the future.
At this scale, I feel that the existence of Japan is relatively tasteless, and it may be removed in the future. In this way, the distance between mainland cities will be greater, and I personally feel that the gameplay is better.
Because there is no dynamic water source function, the altitude cannot be true, otherwise the river banks in high altitude areas are cliffs. At present, the river banks and coasts in low-altitude areas are also relatively high. In the future, changing things such as forests personally thinks that it has little meaning other than eating graphics card memory, so it is only symbolically painted.
There are some well-made maps of China in the workshop. The location and even the population are more particular, but the number of cities is too dense and the industry is too small. It feels a little lack of playability.
