FS Binari italiani pack
FS Binari italiani pack
Mod “Italian tracks”, a basic pack of tracks covering all the ages of the game. ATTENTION: It is absolutely necessary to activate the “Italian catenaries” mod by DomTrain.
There are 9 tracks, and they are made with a more accurate model of rail, with relative sleepers; 6 of these tracks have their own catenary.
Given the large number of tracks, these have been divided into several categories.
The two macro-categories are:
– mod (written in red)
– norm.
The Moddabile track (mod) has no switch boxes and no bumpers; in the case of electrified track, it also has no catenary poles: This is to allow a correct construction of the catenary in large stations (and avoid the problem of poles in the middle of the track).
The normal track is built exactly like the conventional ones.
These macro-categories are divided, in turn, into the various sub-categories relating to the speed limit imposed:
– 30km/h
– 60km/h
– 100km/h
– 160km/h
Track types:
– From 1850 to 1900, track with rails anchored through nails on wooden sleepers. 100km/h Vmax
– From 1900, track with rails anchored through plates and bolts to the sleepers (dirty); great for secondary lines. This track replaces the previous one and is equipped with its own catenary (old-type FS). 100 km/h Vmax
– From 1900, track with rails anchored through plates and double bolts to the sleepers. Old type FS catenary. 140km/h Vmax
– From 1950, track with rails anchored through plates and double bolts to the sleepers (in concrete). Standard FS catenary on poles M. 160km/h Vmax. Has a white rail version from 2014.
– From 1960 to 2000, track with rails anchored through plates and double bolts to the sleepers (in concrete). Standard FS overhead track on LS poles. 200km/h Vmax
– From 1970, track with rails anchored through pandrol attachments on concrete sleepers. FS catenary type Direttissima Rome-Florence. 250km/h Vmax
– From 1990, track with rails anchored through vossloh attachments on concrete sleepers. FS AV 25Kv type catenary. 300km/h Vmax. Has a white rail version from 2014.
– From 1995, track with rails anchored through vossloh attachments on concrete sleepers. Overhead catenary type FS Direttissima, but on single LS poles like Torino – Bardonecchia line. Vmax 170km/h
– From 2005, track with rails anchored through vossloh connections on concrete sleepers. FS-type catenary with OMNIA-type suspensions. Vmax 200km/h. Has a white rails’ version from 2014.
