In 1975, MÁV (Hungarian State Railways) ordered Eams series cargo wagons from the Polish factory called SWIDNICA. These wagons had high sidewalls and four axles. A total number of 1 000 were manufactured between 1975 and 1976, using mainly iron plates. They have 2 1,85 meters wide doors on each side. The wagons can be tilted, and their front and end can be opened as well. They are mostly used to transport coal, coke, wood, scrap iron, and materials produced by agriculture and the building industry.
