The final version of the M 62 diesel-electric locomotive
The model of the M 62 diesel-electric locomotive has been entirely renewed. This final version contains the new loco. During development, the entire 3D model has been revised and refurbished. An engine room has been added, the driver’s cabin has been modernized, and the bogeys have been made to be more detailed. Appropriate glass effects have been added to the model as well. It’s important to note that now there are 8 high-quality, detailed paint jobs available. The package contains 7 paint jobs from MÁV Hungarian Railways and 1 from GYSEV – Győr-Sopron-Ebenfurt Railway (Raaberbahn).

History and technical details of the M 62 diesel-electric locomotive used by MÁV Hungarian Railways
The MÁV M62 series is made to MÁV. It is the biggest sold main line Co’Co’ wheel arrangement diesel locomotive serial. M62 was prodeced in the Vorosilovgrad Diesel Engine Factory (today: Luhanszki ). MÁV ordered these locomotives. Later these type was in the Soviet Union and other socialist countries. Mongolia, Cuba, and Poland used these too. These series were in Hungary between 1965 and 1978.
