We are proud to make this French railcar available to you! The Z24500-Z26500 multiple unit nicknamed the TER 2N NG, is a double-decker multiple unit made up of 4 variants: initially the z24500, which is a double-decker and a triple-decker, then the z26500, which is a quadri-decker and a penta-decker. With the success of the z23500, in 2000 the SNCF and Alstom began work on a brand new 2-storey multiple unit, the successor to the z23500, the TER 2N NG, which is more efficient than the old z23500. They have more capacity, PMR access and speeds of up to 160km/h instead of 140km/h. The first train sets came out in 2004 and were built until 2010. Many regions have ordered them, including : Picardie, Nord Pas de Calais, Haute Normandie, Pays de la Loire, Centre, PACA, Rhône Alpes, and Lorraine. It has also been exported to Luxembourg under the name CFL 2200.
