Desc:
The OQ Class is a type of locomotive that saw limited construction, with only three locomotives built. Two of which were assigned to Tower Colliery in south wales and one to Mardy Colliery. Only one of these locomotives survived. The locomotive comes in three liveries Green and black lined, NCB Black and BR lined red and black.
The OX class was built in the 1920s and is smaller than the OQ class, like the OQ class it was mainly employed by the collieries, like the OQ Class it was produced only in limited numbers with only 5 known to have been built and only 2 known to be preserved both in the same Green and Black lined liveries. (Modelled after Ashington No 5 based at Stephenson’s railway museum, North Tyneside.)
