PKP EU06
As the electrification of the polish railways being rapidly around the 50s PKP needed a mixed traffic locomotive as the ET21 was already in service on freight routes. In 1959, it won a contract with English Electric, the Eu 06 is mechanically similar to the BR Class 83 with the first locomotives arriving in early 1962. Nicknamed the “Anglik” (The Englishman) for its origins.
