RENFE Old cargo wagons
RENFE Old cargo wagons
By the decade of 1870, the most common size of cargo wagons in Spain were the wagons with 4.5m between axis. By the last years of the XIX century, the wagon manufacturers standardized the chassis sizes. The chosen chassis was the 6.5m steel chassis built by the “Beasain wagon factory” later know as CAF.
Those unified wagons were ordered by most of the Spanish rail companies. After the creation of the state company RENFE those old cargo wagons were renamed as 12.000 to 19000 series.
Some old boxcars were used until the mid 70s, also the Tanks wagons still in service until 1990.
This Modification adds the Spanish old cargo wagons to the game.
