SAGAMI RAILWAY 2000series
The Sotetsu 2000 series trains were collected from various places in the 1940s and 1950s during the reconstruction from the war, and those with a car body length of around 17 meters were grouped together and unified under the name of the 2000 series.
The cars classified as Series 2000 are various, including Odakyu Electric Railway’s MOHA 51, JNR’s Series 30, Series 31, and Series 50 trains that were restored after their bodies were destroyed in the war, Sagami Railway’s Kiha 1 converted into a control car, Ome Electric Railway’s MOHA 500, Keio Electric Railway’s Deha 14, and Keio Teito Electric Railway’s Deha 14.
There were also those that were newly built by Tokyu Sharyo Manufacturing by combining the base frame of Keio Teito Railroad’s Deha 1400 type with hand-held equipment, and those that were converted from KUMOHA11 and KUHA16 of Japan National Railways in 1959 by unifying the car bodies.
This mod is a car body with form unification work.
The shape of the car body is like the middle of MOHA30 and MOHA31.
Later, it was converted to a Moji 2000 electric freight car, and after it finished handling freight, it remained in service as a business car until 2007. In addition, the 2000 Series, Moha 165, which was transferred to Izu Hakone Railway, is still in service as a Codec 165 business train as of 2022.
