World Monuments Collection N.20: Buckingham Palace
Hello friends.
The palace, originally known as Buckingham House, was a little hotel built for John Sheffield, the 1st Duke of Buckingham. King George III acquired it in 1762 to convert it into a public residence. With the arrival on the throne of Queen Victoria of England, Buckingham Palace became the official residence of the monarchy. Includes The Victoria Memorial and Royal Guard character.
