The 33 series locomotive originated from the German 50 series and was built during World War II in almost all locomotive factories in occupied Europe.
Over 6,200 pieces of these locomotives were produced.
After the war, Yugoslavia was named war reparations and won 341 locomotives of this series.
The locomotives of this series could tow a passenger train weighing 220 tons on the horizontal line, with a maximum speed of 80 km / h, and a freight train weighing 1150 tons, with a speed of 50 km / h.
