The 333.3 diesel-electric locomotive operates on the conventional Iberian gauge rail network (1,668 mm). It is equipped with a General Motors diesel engine that is connected to three three-phase electric motors, and this is a shaft. Subseries 333.3 is an adaptation of the original 333.0 series, retaining its power and making technological improvements.
