DBR Class
DBR Class
In the late 1970’s it was decided to rebuild the DB class along the same lines as the DA class. The work was contracted to Clyde Engineering in Australia and was completed between 1980-82. The work involved cutting down the short hood to improve visibility, new cabs, and the installation of the EMD 8-645C engine. Ten units would be built.
