Soviet & Russian Panel Houses, pack #2
Soviet & Russian Panel Houses, pack #2
3 Soviet panel houses, which were transferred from Cities Skylines to Transport Fever 2, with the approval of the author – FantasticVitalii: houses of series P-46, P-49, and P-60. In addition, more and better functionality was added compared to the first pack, and new content was created based on the original houses (e.g. color variants on house P46).
Feature of the mod:
3 high quality houses from Cities: Skylines by FantasticVitalii, which were improved by us for TpF2
Fixed bugs of the original houses: normal bugs, mirrored textures, minor geometry bugs, etc.
Made our own lods for each house, significantly reducing the load on the player’s computer
For each house you can select the number of entrances, level the ground, select the texture under the house, etc. All in one menu.
Houses generate residents and cars, both release and attract them. We have carefully balanced the number of residents per house: it depends on the number of floors, sections, etc. With a special slider, you choose the number of residents for every 2 sections of the house.
In order for houses to generate residents, they must be connected to the road network. To do this, when building a house, you must select the option of road connection. If you choose paths, the house will generate residents, and if you choose a road, it will also generate cars. Do not forget to turn on the generation of residents, there on the menu.
User-friendly mod interface: icons, descriptions, everything is translated and customized Tooltips. Now when you hover over any button in the build menu, you will find additional hints on how it works, how to use it properly, or a known bug to avoid.
Mod Content:
The mod includes 3 series of houses:
P-46 House (II-46) (since 1971) – was built between 1971 and 1998. The series was developed jointly with Czech designers. The houses were praised for a large number of balconies, storage rooms, and good thermal insulation. This is a version with 12 floors.
P-49 House (II-49) (since 1971) – designed in the 1970s, were intended to replace the five-floors houses of the K-7 series. New technologies were used in the cladding of external walls and joints between panels. Granular tiles were applied to the panels in factory conditions…
P-60 House (II-60) (since 1964) – high-rise buildings that were built in regions far away from the center of the country. Built-in Togliatti, Orenburg, and of course in Pripyat – the abandoned houses of this series near Chernobyl became a hallmark of the dead city. In the mod realized version of 16 floors.
