Ported from 2015 Train Fever.
This is a reskin to represent the short lived LNER CLass 43 HST.
Yes, I know – The upper white line on nose is not ideal but original model/skin mapping is a bit wonky there.
The workshop ID of this mod is 2076690435. Like all mods I recommend you copy it in case the mod is later removed. Depending on your specific setup, workshop mods for your games can be found in
C: Program Files (x86) / Steam / steamapps / workshop / content / “game ID number”.
In the 1970s, BR decided to upgrade its main-line express diesel locomotives, and based on lessons from the high-speed Class 55 Deltics, they developed the HST which could travel at up to 125 mph (201 km/h), using two power cars each with a 12-cylinder Paxman Valenta, running at 1,500 rpm and developing 2,250 bhp (1,680 kW). The HST is replaced by the Hitachi Super Express.
LNER inherited a fleet of InterCity 125’s when they took over the failed Virgin Trains East Coast (VTEC) in mid 2018 and although popular, all were withdrawn by December 2019. The striking yet simple red and white livery is a favorite of mine. This train comes with matching livery carriages, one being first class.
