Alpine Climate – Snow at 1000m
New climate mod for Transport Fever 2, based on a Swiss Alpine landscape.
This mod only changes the paint layers and does not affect terrain generation. The base grass layer is mixed with light grass at lower elevations, changing to lighter green grass and eventually the alpine grass before finally transitioning to a screed layer and then the snow cap. Snow should start appearing at around 1000 meters in elevation.
Because there are many different maps available in the workshop, with mountains at all sorts of different heights, variants with snow appearing at 700 meters and 1500 meters are also available. Pick whichever option works best for your game.
This mod is free to add and remove to any save game, uses all vanilla textures, and can be activated by changing the “Climate” option in the Advanced Settings menu on game load-up.

Known Bug:
All foliage types appear with this mod enabled. Using a temperate generator can help to minimize the number of palm trees and/or cacti spawning on the map, but they still appear in the lots of homes built. Not sure how to fix it. Any ideas, please share.
