Lots of goodies here, folks. New road assets, bus stops, and schemed roads.
THIS MOD CAN MESS WITH EXISTING ROADS. I recommend a fresh save. I’m not responsible for any save damage, you’ve been warned!
This mod cannot be uninstalled, easily. It will screw up your save, and you won’t be able to remove old roads. To uninstall, remove all traces of roads in your save. Global Upgrade mod by Okeating is excellent for this.
Besides gravel and dirt roads, all are available in 1920.
Roads with dividers are enabled in the mod menu, mainly because they could significantly affect your performance if you have lower RAM quantities (more tris = more RAM usage according to UG)
For RR crossings and bridges, I made special road categories for the weathered and standard asphalt. The default roads rely on ground textures, besides those marked “Concrete Grooved”.
For issues with roads and ground textures, I’ve noticed if the ground was painted prior, you will need to lay the road down, then head over to the terrain tools, select the eraser tool in the brush tools, make the brush the size of the road, and then run the eraser over the road. Seems to be a game glitch? Not sure.
