A brief introduction of Suzhou:
Fuzhou, formerly romanized as Foochow, is the capital and one of the largest cities in Fujian province, China. Fuzhou is on the southeast coast of mainland China. It is located in an estuarine basin surrounded by mountains. It lies on the north (left) bank of the estuary of Fujian’s largest river, the Min River. Its urban population is about 2.7 million and the population of its whole prefecture is about 7.1 million. Fuzhou in Chinese means “a city with good luck.” It is the cradle of Min Culture. It is the economic and cultural center of eastern Fujian nowadays.
