This mod adds the game year to the info bar in the bottom right corner.
What’s the game year?
– The Game Year is the period used for all in-game calculations on rate, financials, logs, etc.
– On normal Game Speed, the Game Year equals 730.50 seconds (2 sec per day, averaged leap year).
– If the Date Speed is changed or has been changed (e.g. paused) the indicated year in the Journal or on the Charts is different from the game’s actual year and can result in weird-looking formats. With this mod, you can a) easily see how far into the year you are and make easy connections between the numbers displayed.
What does this mod NOT do?
– no changes to any screens, tables, charts, etc. as this could interfere with default game behavior and needs to be tested (& developed first – no need for me at the moment)
