MB L1113
The L 1113 was created on the basis of Seebohm’s laws. Daimler-Benz’s objective was to build the truck as light as possible and with the largest possible loading area, without constructing a forward control truck, as it was not foreseeable at the end of the 1950s whether the forward control would prevail with customers in the long term. So it was decided to compromise on the short-hooded truck, which has the advantages of a hood-controlled handlebar, but offers a lot more payload and loading space.
