Mission Mighty Mississippi
Mission Mighty Mississippi
The story
Louisiana, at the mouth of the Mississippi river. Nearly one-third of all cotton produced in the United States is handled in New Orleans. The city is hosting a World’s Fair to celebrate 100 years of cotton export. Cooperate and compete with existing companies to get people and cargo to the exposition. Get concessions to operate in Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois. And become the biggest transport company from New Orleans to Chicago!
The mission
This completely new mission is part of the Inventors & Adventurers campaign.

The region is divided into 8 states: Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana and Illinois.
In order to operate in a state you need to get the concession first, which you can buy at the local government building. The price depends on the total number of inhabitants in that particular state. After acquiring the concession, you will get a task from the government to fulfill.

Note: The campaign aims to portray key milestones in the history of transportation as vividly as possible in their historical context. They also deal with dark chapters in the world’s events, whereby the corresponding episodes are never supposed to be downplayed, and the victims within them never ridiculed. After all, it shouldn’t be left by the wayside that the history of transportation was often and still is a story of conflicts, oppression, and sometimes great suffering. Accordingly, the value judgements conveyed in the individual missions do not reflect the developer’s own values.
