Odakyu Series 1000 EMU
Odakyu Series 1000 EMU
Odakyu Series 1000 is a commuter train that Odakyu Electric Railway started to introduce in 1988. It is the first Odakyu commuter train to use a stainless steel body, and features a dull-finish finish on the surface to reduce the shine peculiar to stainless steel. It also supports the direct operation of the Chiyoda subway line. Most cars are still in service, and renovations are in progress.
