The 20-meter class cars were collected from various places in the 1940s and 1950s during the reconstruction from the war and unified under the name of “Type 3000”.
MOHA3001, MOHA3006, and KUHA3501 were originally disposed of JNR Series 63 cars allocated for the Odakyu Line, and were a form of Series 1800 within the Odakyu Line.
In 1947, they were transferred to Sotetsu, but the type was not changed and remained as the 1800 series.
