As asked for – You will need the mod that has the pillars, enabled in your game as well, for this to work.

I put this in a separate mod because then you can choose to have them or not.

When using this, you will notice the game ‘digs’ foundations out for the non-existent pillars.
The terrain tool will not remove these holes – however – putting a road over them is no problem
and also, if you then delete the road, the holes vanish.
