United Airlines Airbus A320 Legacy Pack Mod
A collection of the liveries the A320 flew with United Airlines prior to the merger with Continental Airlines.
N401UA “Battleship Gray”: Delivered in November 1993, it was the first A320 delivered to United Airlines. The livery survived on the A320 almost as long as its “Rising Blue” replacement. Both were replaced by the Continental merger colors. Available 1993-2011.
N411UA “Rising Blue”: This ship was the first A320 to receive the “Rising Blue” livery in April 2005. Available 2005-2012.
N475UA “Friend Ship”: This retro livery was painted in 2011 and continues to fly to this day. Available from 2011.
N495UA “Ted”: A short-lived trend in the 2000’s was the low-cost offshoot. Ted was a response to JetBlue and Frontier in an effort to offer a separate low-cost product. N495UA was the first aircraft to be painted in these colors. Oil prices in 2008 forced a quick end to the trend. Available 2003-2008.
