As most of you might have noticed things got a little quiet since Mr. House and his Courier defeated the Legion and, well, negotiated the removal of the majority of the NCR soldiers from the Mojave, besides the Courier running in and out of the *Static* 38 I was beginning to think Mr. House had decided to take a vacation, one that I think him and most of us would deserve.
Just this morning however the Lucky 38 decided to sponsor me to tell all my lovely viewers to turn your radios onto this very channel at noon today for a very *Static* radio announcement coming from Mr. House himself. Now what’s this about? I don’t know, but this kind of direct announcement only happens, Once in a Blue Moon! *Static*

*Static* “Well we’re back folks, I hope you enjoyed that last number, I’ll never get tired of those Jingling Spurs. And now for our big event, Mr New Vegas himself is calling in for his special announcement,” *Static*
“Citizens of the Mojave, Visitors to New Vegas, I am speaking directly to you to announce that the future of New Vegas is at hand, with the defeat of the Slavers of the Legion and the corruption of the NCR, We now are finally independent to start building our Society, not rebuilding mind you, but building a new one. To this end I have invested my Courier with the authority and funds to start work on a project to construct the logistical network needed to build our economy, to anyone who wishes for work, the reward will be well worth the effort, for those who would hinder our progress, know that the roads and rails will be protected by my Securitrons. New Vegas is more than a city, it’s the remedy to Mankind’s derailment, for those who help there will be an incredible reward, for those who stand in our way, no one will even bother digging a grave for you.” *Static*
*Static* “Well how about that folks? Why, if I was a few years younger I might be tempted to go out there myself, but instead I think I’ll just make sure you have some quality music to listen to as you’re out putting down some Big Iron rails…..” *Static*
As Mr. House’s representative you’ve been given free reign to build a proper transport network, but Mr. House would probably appreciate if you tried to prioritize connecting New Vegas with Mojave Outpost and other connections to the NCR and former Legion territories across the river.
This project is the result of many, many hours of working and trying to match out the game map to an expanded TF2 Map, while there is some slight inaccuracies due to the expanded scale, I’ve tried to line it up as best I can with the New Vegas Map. Sadly due to TF2 not having multiple water table heights I wasn’t able to make the lake behind the dam accurate, so you’ll have to use your imagination to pretend that it’s at its proper height.
I tried to space out industries to be interesting without making it too easy or too hard, however I wasn’t quite sure how many industries would be needed so it might be a good idea to add a mod that allows you to place more industries as you reach more towards the late game.
