World Monuments Collection N.6: Colosseum (Roma)
The Colosseum or Flavian Amphitheater (in Latin Colosseum, in Italian Colosseo) is an amphitheater from the time of the Roman Empire, built in the 1st century. It is located in the east of the Roman Forum, and was the largest of those built in the Roman Empire. Originally known as the Flavian Amphitheater (Amphitheatrum Flavium) it is now called the Colosseum (Colosseum) because next to it there was a large statue, the Colossus of Nero, a monument dedicated to the emperor Nero who later underwent transformations and eventually disappeared. The Colosseum is an asset in the category *Monuments* and has the ability to attract people of 200 people (buisiness). We hope you like it again.
